Standish, ME – Coming into the Fall Classic, AX Class driver David Woodle had a commanding lead in the class.  Leaving Standish, Woodle had all but clinched the championship with two races still to go.

On Saturday, BUBBA driver, Eden Deware gave it her best as she battled wind and the normally rough Standish water but, in the end, current series points leader David Woodle of Groton, MA showed why he’s the defending class champion taking win. Quinn Roberts of NH earned a well-deserved spot on the podium in third place.

On Sunday, it was more of the same between Deware and Woodle but this time a starting infraction penalized Woodle giving Deware her first AX Class win of the season. Quin Roberts finished second.

With two races to go Woodle still maintains a commanding lead in the BUBBA burger AX Class, but with the Standish wins Deware has moved closer to Quin Roberts and Matt Mead for second place in the standings.

The next event on the 2019 BUBBA burger New England Junior Hydroplane Championship Series will be the Annual Kingston Fall Classic in Kingston, NH.
